We’re here to help you succeed

There are approximately 1.5 million people living with sight loss in Canada, and Canadians living with disabilities represent a purchasing power of $55 billion CAD annually.

These potential customers, along with their families and friends, frequent banks, commercial buildings, financial institutions, hospitals, airports, and many other venues.

An accessible and inclusive establishment allows blind and partially sighted customers more autonomy and security to navigate your business environment independently.

An accessible experience draws in new customers and keeps them coming back.

CNIB Access Labs provides customized solutions to support seamless internal and external navigation & wayfinding.

Our Navigation & Wayfinding solutions integrate with existing infrastructure and embedded technology, to help people with disabilities access your facilities and services with ease.

Navigation & Wayfinding tools allow people to pre-plan trips, gain access to a variety of venues, and help identify important landmarks such as emergency exits, and more, for safe travel.

Our team of accessibility experts will guide your organization to select the best solution for your customer and visitor needs.

Testimonial

“Partnering with CNIB has been a cornerstone in our journey towards making Toronto Pearson International Airport a more inclusive and navigable space. Their invaluable insights were pivotal when we introduced innovative navigation and wayfinding solutions. What’s more, we want to provide inclusive access to the joys of air travel through a safe and welcoming airport experience for everyone, and we couldn’t do it without CNIB’s expertise and focus on harnessing lived experiences to drive meaningful innovation.”
